quotes No same e2e and stroke as the standard rp23 that it replaced. I would have fit anything else

quotes Originally I had a yellow 07 with black rear triangle which I bought new but it was a L, too big but I wanted one soo bad and it was a good deal, then I got a brand new 06 front triangle which is blue, the 06 rears were white. Hence the frankenstein effort but I dont like the White anyways. The I'm not sure the exact situation with dropouts, I got mine with a ds dropout attaced to the frame straight out of the box, but the guy in the shop called the distributor pagilap? Who said I ahold have had both, the euro versions only came with a single ss dropout but uk should have had both, after chasing them for a few months it eventually arrived through the post. The original kona dropouts are silver, I have seen 3rd party black versions. I saw a kona ss one for sale on eBay recently for a few pounds, you should keep an eye out, the dropout from the similar aged Cowan hardtails also fit. I'm running a 28-14 at present but not real great ratio but there are a lot of uphills and I use it for general trail riding too, Im thinking of putting gears back on it ? Will see about that as I like the simplicity and lack of chain noise with the ss set up??

quotes It was free, I was told by the distributor that uk spec frames in 2007 came with both but euro ones did not. The sent me one free of charge though I didnhave to chase them repeatedly to get it, ended up only running gears for a few months, thinking of switching back tho at the moment just to make the bike more usable

quotes The chain stays pivot around the bottom bracket so no tensioner is required as the chain line does not expand at all
